Located at 11 Sentul Crescent, Punggol Swimming Complex will be part of the upcoming Punggol Regional Sports Centre, conveniently close to the Sam Kee LRT station and behind the One Punggol lifestyle hub. The Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth has announced that the opening, originally planned for 2023, has been pushed to 2026 due to some construction delays.
The complex will feature five pools, including an impressive 50-meter, 8-lane competition pool equipped with a wheelchair ramp, and a sheltered training pool complete with underwater viewing panels. Getting to Punggol Swimming Complex
The complex is easily accessible via the Sam Kee LRT station, which is right at its doorstep. If you’re coming from Punggol MRT, you can enjoy a sheltered walk through One Punggol to reach Sentul Crescent. There are also bus stops along Punggol Way and Sentul Crescent that serve the area. For those driving, there’s a basement carpark available at the sports centre. Families from Northshore, Waterway, and Punggol Coast will find the pool just a short drive away.
Where to Swim Before It Opens
Currently, Punggol doesn’t have any public swimming pools in operation, but you can easily head to Sengkang Swimming Complex located at 57 Anchorvale Road, just 3.2 kilometers from central Punggol. Our coaches are already running swimming lessons in Sengkang, so you can start lessons this month and then transition to Punggol upon its opening. Additionally, we offer swimming lessons at your condo pool, ensuring your child doesn’t lose valuable swimming time while waiting for the new facility.
